You may cancel or amend your booking without charge if done at least 24 hours before the pickup time. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a fee based on the booking type and our current policy.
How do I collect my rental vehicle?+
Ensure you have your booking confirmation (email or text with reservation details). Present a valid driver's license and credit card for the deposit. Be available at the scheduled pickup time for our door-to-door delivery. Inspect the vehicle for any pre-existing damage, document it with photos, and sign the rental agreement outlining terms, insurance, and fees. Is smoking allowed in the rental car?+
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our rental vehicles. Neither renters nor passengers may smoke in the cars. Violations may result in a fine of up to AED 500 if smoking is detected upon return.
What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle from Automan?+
Renters must be at least 21 years old and provide a valid credit card to rent a vehicle in the UAE.
Are there limits on mileage for rental vehicles?+
Most rentals include unlimited mileage unless stated otherwise. Some vehicles or promotional offers may have mileage restrictions, detailed in your rental agreement.
What should I do if the vehicle breaks down or I'm in an accident?+
For a breakdown, call our 24/7 roadside assistance number included in your rental agreement. In case of an accident, contact local emergency services first, then inform us promptly for guidance on insurance and reporting procedures.
What documentation is required to rent a vehicle?+
You'll need a valid driver's license, a credit card in your name, and identification (e.g., passport or national ID). International renters may also need an International Driving Permit.
What are the consequences of returning the car late?+
Returning the vehicle past the agreed time may incur a late fee, calculated hourly or daily based on the duration of the delay, as per your rental agreement.
